Learn more about glued panels

Glued panels are engineered wood products used for manufacturing window sills, furniture, stairs, and tables. According to the method of lamella jointing, glued panels are divided into two groups:

GROUP 1 – solid panels made from full-length lamellas (also called SOLID or solid wood panels);
GROUP 2 – finger-jointed panels – lamellas joined horizontally or vertically.

These panel groups differ in price and appearance. Solid (SOLID) panels are made from continuous lamellas. Visually, they are closer to natural wood texture, with a more uniform structure and color. Therefore, solid panels are more expensive – the price per square meter depends on length: the longer the panel, the higher the price.

Finger-jointed panels, also known as furniture panels, are produced by first joining lamellas lengthwise and then gluing them into a full panel width. These panels can be jointed horizontally or vertically. Visually, the surface is more varied, which makes them more affordable. In terms of strength, finger-jointed panels have a more stable structure and are more resistant to deformation and bending.

Glued panels are made from minimally processed wood, making them a natural and environmentally friendly product that meets all European standards. We always prioritize certified wood, ensuring it comes from sustainably managed forests. During production, panels are glued in accordance with DIN EN 204 standards using high-quality D4 adhesives. Moisture content is 8±2%. They comply with load class D3.
