Larch decking boards are valued for their strength, durability, and natural resistance to outdoor conditions. Their high natural resin content helps protect the wood against moisture, insects, fungi, and decay. To preserve the wood’s natural colour and maintain its attractive appearance, we recommend treating the deck periodically with a high-quality wood decking oil.
Western Canadian larch (Larix occidentalis) is distinguished by its high density, exceptional strength, and long service life. Thanks to its excellent performance characteristics, it is particularly well suited for outdoor applications where the wood is exposed to moisture and fluctuating temperatures.
Thermo-D pine decking boards are produced using a thermal modification process. The wood is treated with high temperatures and steam without the use of chemicals. This process reduces moisture absorption while improving dimensional stability, resistance to warping, and overall durability, making Thermo-D pine an excellent choice for outdoor decking.
